Welcome Friends...Old and New

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! You never know what you might find me posting about daily. It could be a book I'm reading, a movie I loved, my love of crochet or my angst about not being able to learn to knit! LOL

A little about me...I am a self taught crocheter, for about 5 years now. Since learning to crochet I have begun to expand my crafting horizons to making jewelry, simple jewelry which began by making the stitch markers you'll find right here on my blog! While I do love to craft I am often intimidated by certain projects.

Books have and always will be my first love. There's nothing like the smell of an old book that carries with it a history and shared memories of all the readers to whom it's loaned it's story.
And on the contrary, there's nothing quite like being the first to crack the binding on a brand new copy of a soon to be best seller, the smell of the freshly dried ink on the smooth, cool, previously untouched pages.
I don't really have a favorite book, I do have favorite authors, such as Jodi Picolt, Alice Hoffman, Anne Rivers Siddons, Nicholas Sparks, Stephen King, Deepak Chopra, Richard North Patterson, to name a few...
